TV Turns Off & Life Turns on!

Granted! We can pretty much get hooked to it and HOH is it powerful. You get home throw the keys on the table and even before the tie or earrings are off you have reached for the good old button to the TV! That is one reason why i keep it way OUT of the living room, the silly box is a conversation killer! Its like those visiting you have come to call on it more than you.

Now that I think of it, no wonder it is called a living room, you are supposed to derive life out of it, connectivity and the like. So how does that happen with the good old telly being the very epitome of THE conversation???

This week and the last have been pretty hectic for me, with consultants in the country it is no wonder that we had as many as 5 meetings in a day. Went well though. As always one always learns from these guys, from the need for humility, communication and thus getting what you want at the end of the day. Larry, Ina, Susan was great meeting you!

SO now, back to the box! As a result for the heightened activity I could barely crawl home AND turn on the TV. What i ended up doing was more reading in my bed after a steamy hot shower.

Its funny but if felt good, just easing off, enjoying the silence and doing my bible reading. An odd caller and texter but yes, I think am gonna keep that TV (Time Vanishes)off a little longer and get back on the ground.

You should try it, ok, for at least a week. Even the brain welcomes the inactivity as ones thinking process are very much engaged!
